In the innovative landscape driven by artificial intelligence that fosters economic development and social transformation, high-quality AI literacy education has become a crucial support for cultivating responsible producers, providers, consumers, and governors who engage in compliant AI development and application. Major countries and regions are actively mapping out distinctive blueprints for AI literacy education in response to various situations of universal education, degree education, and vocational education. This involves establishing and refining strategic guidelines, framework plans, specific programs, and regulatory assurances. They are implementing detailed measures through national legislation, supplier participation, nationwide campaigns, and international collaboration. There is an urgent need to emphasize the trend where sovereign nations shift from focusing solely on cultivating AI technical talent to valuing the construction of AI literacy for all; from embedding clauses to enhance AI capabilities in development plans and regulatory standards at all levels to issuing specialized policies, regulations, and development initiatives; and from independently formulating national and local educational plans to collectively signing regional and global educational programs. These trends aim to accelerate the construction of an AI literacy education policy system with Chinese characteristics that will lead global actions.
