  • Knowledge Organization of Ancient Literatures under the Perspective of National Cultural Digitalization Strategy: Policy Implication and Endogenous Logic

    The report of the 20th National Congress of the CPC proposed to implement the national culture digitization strategy. According to the Opinions on Promoting the Implementation of the National Cultural Digitalization Strategy issued by the Central Government of China, this paper aims to shed light on the policy implications of the knowledge organization of ancient literatures from the perspective of the inheritance of the Chinese excellent traditional culture and enforce the cultural self-confidence of Chinese people. Then, based on cultural memory and the "World 3" theory, the article deeply analyzes the theoretical basis, main carriers, spiritual core, institutional arrangements and practical direction of knowledge organization of ancient literatures. This paper has a certain reference value for the library, archive and museum industry to performance the professional missions based on effective organization of ancient literatures.

    In the era of digitalization and intelligence, it is of great significance to represent the inherent structure of ancient literatures to organize the knowledge elements among them. Based on the discussion of the reviewing the traditional literature classification methods, this research shed light on the theoretical basis and realization path of the internal structure representation of ancient literatures. Thus, we expect to provide reference for the knowledge organization of ancient literatures. Due to the limitations of the method of ancient literatures classification and ordering, based on analyzing the differences between literature classification and knowledge organization, this paper proposes that literature classification and knowledge organization are essentially the structure of record resources, however, the literature classification is a kind of record resource ordering based on the formal characteristics of document carriers, while knowledge organization is a kind of ordering based on the content elements of ancient literatures. The future of knowledge organization of ancient literatures will transform from static retrieval to dynamic representation.

    The rapid progress of digitalization of ancient literatures in China has promoted the excavation and dissemination of traditional Chinese culture dynamically. In the digital era, the collation of ancient literatures should be upgraded from static retrieval to dynamic characterization, and the use of new technologies to improve the service efficiency of ancient literatures is of great significance to the transformation and development of ancient literatures' classification. Based on the theory of "World 3", this research conduct a analytical procedure of word segmentation and word frequency on Shi Ji (Historical Records) via Jiayan and Hidden Markov Model and then makes a visual analysis of the full text distribution of some high-frequency words, taking into account the collocation of surrounding related words, so as to provide readers with more comprehensive linguistic information. The procedures of Natural Language Processing conduct by this research on ancient literatures is expected to provide a possible reference for the knowledge organization of ancient books.

    It is of the significance to organize the knowledge of ancient literatures so as to deeply explore the knowledge elements in these information resources to highlight cultural self-confidence and promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. With the aids of advanced information processing methods, knowledge computing can extract knowledge elements from a large number of document carriers, efficiently complete knowledge acquisition and knowledge modeling, and achieve the expected goal of knowledge organization of ancient literatures. This paper takes Zipf's law as the theoretical basis of ancient literature knowledge computing, develops a set of word frequency turn point identification standards. Due to the long tail distribution of words in ancient literatures, a frequency position statistics procedure is conducted to deal with words with the same frequency to improve the efficiency of knowledge organization of ancient literatures. This research in clarifies the theoretical basis and specific basic indicators of ancient literature knowledge computing, and provides a reference for the follow-up work of knowledge organization.
  • Research on the Factors Influencing the Continuous Contribution Behavior of UGC Short Video Users and the Mechanism of Their Role

    Exploring the influencing factors of users' sustained contribution behavior in UGC short video communities and their mechanism of action is of positive significance to enhance the motivation of users' sustained contribution and promote the sustainable development of the short video industry. This study uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the main influencing factors of users' sustained contribution behavior in UGC short video communities through qualitative research based on self-determination theory, and then constructs its theoretical model and validates it through structural equation modeling. The results found that (1) the individual factors affecting users' continuous contribution behavior are mainly self-presentation and interpersonal interaction, and the environmental factors are mainly community identity; (2) self-presentation and interpersonal interaction do not directly affect users' continuous contribution behavior significantly, but indirectly act on users' continuous contribution behavior through community identity. Finally, based on the research results, corresponding suggestions are proposed to promote the development of UGC short video communities and their users' sustained contribution behaviors.

    In the process of scientific communication, the value of knowledge lies not only in its intrinsic significance, but also in its diffusion through citation. Therefore, it is significant to reveal the diffusion mechanism and influencing factors in domain knowledge based on citation network. Based on the analysis of the key factors, this paper attempts to depict the mechanism of domain knowledge diffusion from the perspective of simulation, so as to explore new method of knowledge citation prediction based on literature. Taking knowledge management as an example, this paper collects the core journal literatures in this sample from 2010 to 2020 in the China Citation Database, and descripts the statistical characteristics in five dimensions under the context of the real network, i. e., the similarity of literature content, the novelty of literature time, the core of literature position, the reputation of authors and teams, and the impact factor of journals. Based on this, the simulation model is constructed, and the optimal contribution of each indicator is calculated by Monte Carlo simulation. The simulation results show that the formation and evolution of the real citation network are affected by many factors, among which the influence contribution of the similarity of literature content is the highest (Mean=26.22%), the influence of the novelty of literature time, the reputation of authors and teams, and the impact factor of journals is similar (Mean≈20%), and the predictive contribution of the core position of literature is low (Mean=8.11%). The multi-indicator fusion model can better reveal the knowledge diffusion mechanism than the traditional BA model.
  • Research on User Characteristics and Participation Patterns in the Initial Stage of Quantified Self in Perspective of Personal Health Management

    With the development of sensor technology, quantitative self(QS) have attracted more and more users' attention, which have played a great role in personal health management. However, there are often transfer and intermittent discontinuance behaviors in the short term. So this study focuses on user characteristics and participation patterns in the initial stage of QS. We used questionnaire survey to collect QS users' demographic characteristics, health status and awareness, health technology attitude and experience, and related behavioral data. In addition,  we summarized participation patterns from the perspectives of ‘who、what、why、how’ based on genre theory. Through multiple regression analysis, we found that users characteristics were mainly female, young and middle-aged, high income, chronic disease and high health awareness. The QS tools mainly included physical devices and applications. Among them, wearable devices (72%) and mobile terminal applications (80%) are the representatives. The motivations of QS were mainly purposeful motivation and non-purposeful motivation. The tracking contents of QS were mainly related to exercise, sleep, weight, step count and diet. This results provide a basis for identifying target users and providing precise health services, and especially have practical significance for promoting the strategic development of "Health China".

    Against the backdrop of an administration-led renaming of the former disciplinary "Library, Information and Archive Management" into "Information Resource Management" in China and the resulting pressure for Library Science to innovate itself within the new disciplinary structure, this paper discusses what makes the disciplinary core of Library Science and how the discipline should innovate itself while retaining its core. It does so by a revisit to the concept of the library first. It shows that the essential feature of a library is its function to enable information search and access. While it is common for libraries to exist as institutions, as places and as collections of literature, it is universal for all libraries to exist as a functional entity to ensure information discoverability and accessibility. Therefore, the disciplinary core of Library Science and its extended version Library and Information Science is its concern with human beings' fundamental needs to search and access information. This also provides the discipline a sense of direction for its innovations.

    Digital services have unique advantages in enriching and optimizing cultural tourism integration service scenarios and user experience. Understanding and analyzing the digital services in the cultural tourism integration scenario will help to improve service quality, enhance user experience, and promote the new development of cultural tourism integration. Through the network survey system, the types of digital services in the cultural and tourism integration scene of Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing are summarized, and the analysis framework of the cultural and tourism integration scene digital services is formed by drawing on the scene theory. After that, specific cases are selected to carry out user experience research from the functional and value levels. The digital services have various types, and effectively contribute to the construction of cultural and tourism integration scenarios . We should promote the construction of digital infrastructure, focus on interactive experience design, and strengthen cross-scenes service capabilities.

    Public data openness is a social governance movement involving a wide range of public interests, and digital citizenship education for participating subjects can enhance their policy participation and public rationality, thus promoting the release of public data value and the orderly operation of the open ecology. Based on such value logic, the article explores the digital citizenship education model in line with the purpose of public data openness from the perspectives of construction conditions, objectives, contents and characteristics, then combines theories of sociology and political science, and proposes a hybrid digital citizenship education model type that focuses on practical participation education, supplemented by school and social education, from the perspective of subject relations and open reality.

    As an Internet application and social form of fusion of virtual and real, the metaverse is considered the future of the internet. In the past two years, the metaverse has set off a boom in the global technology and investment fields, affecting the development of many industries such as culture, tourism, education, and industry. The library pioneering practice of the metaverse include 3D games in virtual libraries, virtual reality technology applications in physical libraries, etc.; The future scenarios of library development of the metaverse include metaverse virtual library, metaverse learning and reading, metaverse reference consultation, metaverse diversified collaboration, etc.. The future development of libraries in the metaverse perspective should grasp the strategic opportunities of a new round of scientific and technological revolution, expand the depth and breadth of related technology applications, and pay attention to potential social problems and uncertainties.

    "The Right to Memory (RTM)" and "the Right to Be Forgotten(RTBF)" contain two different information value orientations. Under the transformation of social governance and the impact of digital technology, they are gradually incorporated into the digital rule of law framework, but they will also trigger a series of reflections on the use of rights. Based on the dual perspectives of law science and information resource management studies, the article sorts out the legal basis and subject rights and responsibilities of the RTM and the RTBF, and identifies the four paradoxes of them in the digital age, including conceptual paradox, subjective paradox, institutional paradox, technical paradox. The paradox discussion presents the structural characteristics of memory and forgetting, and with the help of judicial cases and existing experience, it proposes coping strategies: follow the requirements of digital justice, incorporate the digital rule of law framework, balance the relationship between public and private rights, and rationally use technical tools.

    The digital collection is embedded into the cultural field, which is an important practice of the implementation and transformation of scientific and technological innovation in the post-COVID-19 era. It not only builds a new value link between creators and consumers through actively enabling the narrative logic of cultural and museum derivatives and digital cultural innovation, builds a rational distribution model of sustainable income, fully encourages the cultural protection, inheritance and dissemination of the integration of data and reality, but also exposes the unclear value standards, unclear ownership of rights, unfair transaction process, and the unstable application of laws.The operation process of the whole industry should implement the top-level design that pays equal attention to risk aversion and value support, strictly follow the existing laws and regulations, build a self-discipline framework for the emerging industry under multi-dimensional consensus, and prudently carry out self inspection and self-control of compliance.     Under the situation of “great changes not seen in a century” and complex information environment, China's intelligence work will face higher requirements. Smart intelligence services with new concepts, technologies, methods and services as the core will become an indispensable “eye and ear” for the implementation of major national strategies. Starting from the two concepts of wisdom intelligence and intelligence service, this paper makes a deep interpretation of intelligent intelligence service, distinguishes the boundary and evolution trend of concepts, breaks the gap between existing concepts and research, and realizes the organic coordination and leap of intelligent intelligence products and services in the age of digital intelligence. Firstly, this paper combs wisdom intelligence and intelligence service, and defines the connotation of smart intelligence service; Secondly, it explains the general situation of the evolution of smart intelligent services;Then, it puts forward the enabling mechanism of smart intelligence services for national major strategies; Finally, the paper puts forward a logical approach to enable the implementation of national major strategies through smart information services driven by digital intelligence.     Platformization is one of the most important trends in the digital era. From the perspective of digital platform, the relevant theoretical system of standard information service will be further enriched, exploring the innovation mechanism of standard information service，which will help accelerate the application of data information innovation and add new impetus to the higher-quality development of standard information service. On the basis of expounding the driving motivation of digital platform to standard information service innovation, we define its connotation and characteristics. Following the core essence of service innovation theory, we analyze the value logic of digital platform driving standard information service innovation, and discuss the path of innovation realization. With the staged evolution of the platform life cycle, the elements of standard information service innovation are intertwined and integrated with each other, and staged jumps and incremental development have been achieved in the level progression and connection, and thus creating a new situation of "platform + service" resonance.
  • Literati in Lintao and the Political Situation of Ming Dynasty：Interpretation of the Epitaph of Yongzhuo

    The epitaph of Yongzhuo, the imperial censor supervisor of the Ming Dynasty, unearthed in Lintao County, Gansu Province records the family genealogy and official experience of the tomb owner Yongzhuo, and supplements the historical information of the Yong family in DiDao. The historical events of the Horse Administration mentioned in the epitaph provide new historical data for the study of the Geng-xu Crisis and the political status of the supervisor groups in the Mid-to-late Ming Dynasty. Through detailed research on the historical information recorded by the epitaph, we can not only observe the communication between the tomb owner Yong Zhuo and the Ming Dynasty counselor Yang Jisheng but also deeply explore the relationship between literati in Lintao and the political situation of Ming Dynasty.
