  • Considerations on Teaching Innovation of “Information Resource Management” Course in the Context of New Liberal Arts

    The “Information Resource Management” course is one of the most important courses offered by Information Management and Information System. After the concept of new liberal arts was put forward, the “Information Resource Management” course should innovate the teaching concept: upholding the integration and co-creation with the society to promote the dialogues between theory and practice; integrating the logic of data intelligence continuously to keep the balance between tradition and modernity; breaking the professional boundaries bravely to promote the combination of professional knowledge and interdisciplinary knowledge. So in this new environment，the teaching of “Information Resource Management” course needs to fuse thinking, technology and humanities insistently, keep up with the new era on the basis of persistence and inheritance, cultivate innovative talents that meet the development needs of the new era.
  • Content Analysis of Characteristics of Big Data Management and Application Major in the Context of New Liberal Arts

    With the gradual clarification of the goals and roads of China’s new liberal arts, and the undergraduate major, big data management and application, has become one of the most important components in new liberal arts among all the interdisciplinary majors. Up to 2019, there are 82 colleges which have been approved to set up the undergraduate major, Big Data Management and Application. This study investigates the training objectives of 64 colleges and curriculum configuration of 10 colleges to analyze the current construction situation and existing problems quantitatively through content analysis. The results indicated that: (1) The training objectives vary according to the characteristics of the school or major, and the requirements for students' data intelligence quality are relatively insufficient; (2) the training path of most colleges is the combination of the knowledge background of economics and management and the technology of data science; (3) the training objectives have made requirements on the management, technology and application of big data, but the curriculum of big data management cannot match the knowledge and ability requirements in the target. Based on the above conclusions, this article puts forward suggestions for talent training programs of big data management and application major under the background and guiding ideology of the "new liberal arts" construction.
  • Research on Strategies for Improving the Ability of Students Majoring in Information Management and Information System under the New Engineering——Exploration based on Grounded Theory

    The continuous development of new education models such as new engineering courses and information technology provides more development opportunities for students majoring in information management，and also puts forward higher requirements for the comprehensive ability of students majoring in information management. This study first conducted interviews with 371 alumni of the information management major on the issue of "improving the professional ability of credit management" through the interview method, and formed 68 interview reports (approximately 28,000 words), and then use grounded theory methods to conduct qualitative research with NVivo 10 software to from the model of factors affecting the improvement of abilities for undergraduates who major in information management from the perspective of graduate alumni, and carry out actual verification of this model with the help of questionnaire data. The study found that there are four problems in the improvement of the abilities of information management majors in sample universities under the background of new engineering: school resources need to be updated and improved, and the utilization of resources by students is low, students' self-improvement awareness is weak, the importance of training practical ability is not high, and some talent training programs and curriculum structure settings are not reasonable. In response to the problem, on the basis of a grounded theoretically-constructed model for the improvement of the professional ability of information management, the study based on the construction background of new engineering students, the school and the society gave a path to improve the ability of the students of information management: firstly, students should pay attention to the study of professional knowledge, improve the application of new engineering technology and innovative thinking, improve independent learning ability and professional skills, and actively participate in social thinking to improve employability; secondly, the school should vigorously promote the construction of new engineering education, improve teaching resources, and effectively improve the quality of education and teaching of the information management, take practical teaching as the main point of improvement, pay attention to the training of professional teachers' teaching ability, and establish a talent training model based on new engineering. formulate a reasonable training plan and course content for information management professionals. zthirdly, the society and schools should strengthen information sharing, timely feedback social development information, strengthen cooperation and information sharing.
  • Analysis on Collaboration Characteristics of China’s International Collaboration Research Project Funded by NSFC

    Analysis on China's international research collaboration from the point of output of international collaboration research projects is of great significance to the formulation and optimization of international research collaboration policies and management regulations for science and technology policy makers and research managers. This paper studied the output papers of the project supported by major international (regional) joint research program funded by NSFC in 2001-2018 and analyzed the characteristics of China's international research collaboration with methods of bibliometric, social network analysis and BCG Matrix analysis. The output papers of the project supported by major international (regional) joint research program funded by NSFC have been steadily rising. From the perspective of the overall collaboration network, it showed that there are 99 countries participating in the collaboration and the collaboration network has a high degree of connectivity and grouping. However, the network density is not high, and the new partnership needs to be further established. From the perspective of time evolution and subject areas, it is slightly different for the international research collaboration network at each stage and across various subject areas. The level of collaboration is uneven between different countries and the number of developing and prosperous countries is relatively more. The countries with more prominent collaboration with China include the United States, Britain, Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, Sweden, etc., especially United States, and each subject has its own characteristics. China has played an important leading role in international research collaboration of China’s international collaboration research project funded by NSFC. The international collaboration leaded by China are mainly bilateral collaboration, while multilateral is relatively rare. It is suggested that China should further enhance the depth and breadth of international research collaboration, focus on collaboration with various countries in the field of specialization, and optimize the bilateral and multilateral international research collaboration mechanism.

    On the one hand, the technology of data deep synthesis, which has been used in thousands of industries, improves the production efficiency, improves the quality of life, and helps the economic and social development. On the other hand, many malicious applications also seriously threaten personal rights, political security, social stability and national security. This paper starts with the concept and classification of data deep synthetic, combined with the characteristics of data to be proved and the current criteria of the accepting, focuses on the key risks in affecting the effectiveness of authentication algorithm, causing trust decline, infringing personal rights and interests, and threatening the security system. Then, it put forward a series of methods, such as strictly curbing source violations, reshaping the expert witness, and strengthening the supporting mechanism of circumstantial experience.

    The construction of the academic journal database provides possibility for in-depth research on the labeling of fund projects in scientific papers. In this research, the National Social Science Fund projects and the papers which labeled these fund projects were obtained from the CNKI database, and a statistical analysis was carried out on the fund labeling of these papers. Word2vec model was used to calculate the similarity of the research content between the paper and its labeled funds. Two human annotate teams were organized to make further identification of the false labeling of funds. The results show that it is common for papers to label multiple funds. Among the false labeling examples, the proportion of major projects and key projects are considerably higher.

    The main tone of library's next round development is to implement new concept of development and to promote the quality. The key of stepping over from quantity to quality is transformation. The author made a review of the achievement in the past 40 years and the change of position our country's library in international library community, and explored the three global forming consensuses about library's service mode: all media, fully literate, and full cycle. In the end the author put forward some suggestions about the right of speech, technology research and basic research for our libraries's development.
  • The Path for Library Data to Help the Construction of New Liberal Arts

    The emergence of the new liberal arts is deeply rooted in major changes of society. The data-intensive fourth scientific research paradigm has brought new breakthroughs to liberal arts research. Therefore, considering the construction of new liberal arts from a data perspective is of great significance. More specifically, the new liberal arts should follow the rules of information technology disenchantment, interdisciplinary integration, data-talented cultivation and resolving major issues. It is the advantage in the data acquisition, preservation, and dissemination that determines library's middle stage status in the construction of new liberal arts. Therefore, library data service could be improved from the DIKW model, including four levels of data, information, knowledge, and wisdom to empower the construction of new liberal arts.

Combined with the current national strategy, technological development and career development trend, which will have a great impact on culture-tourism integration, the future research on culture-tourism integration in China needs to further connect national strategies, attach importance to information technology, pay attention to cross-border collaboration,and serve rural revitalization strategies.

    The EU fully adopts FAIR principle in the fields of Open Scientific Data and Open Government Data, and has achieved remarkable results, which has reference value for China's public data open sharing policy formulation. Using Web survey and literature analysis methods, the content, implementation framework and progress of the FAIR principles in EU was systematically introduced in this paper. Then, the shortcomings of the public data opening in China were analyzed in comparison with the FAIR principle. Drawing on the advanced experience of the European Union, it is believed that China should coordinate the opening of government data and scientific data, attach importance to the interoperability of data infrastructure in the "new infrastructure", and strengthen international cooperation for the open sharing of science data.
  • Book Impact Assessment Based on Multi-level Fine-grained Review Mining

    Massive online reviews express users' opinions and attitudes towards books and their aspects (e.g. content, printing etc.), thus reflecting the impacts of books. This paper conducted multi-level fine-grained mining of online book reviews to evaluate the impacts of books. This paper first collected books' online reviews. Then, fine-grained book review mining was conducted to get evaluation metrics, and multiple text representation methods were compared and domain sentiment lexicons were constructed to improve the performance of metric mining. Finally, evaluation metrics were integrated to identify book impacts. The experimental results show that although there are disciplines differences, online book reviews can be used as an effective resource for book impact assessment. In addition, in this corpus, the performance of one-hot text representation is superior to that of topic model based methods and the deep learning based method. Meanwhile, sentiment lexicon with fuzzy sentiment words can effectively improve the performance of sentiment classification.

    The public opinion of recurrent events is the existence of normalization in the network society. The targeted research and scientific prediction of it will help to guide the orderly development of public opinion and maintain the stability of the network society. This study constructs a risk assessment index system of network public opinion for recurrent events, uses Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process to test and measure the weight of the index system. Based on this, taking the "Garbage Classification Event" as an example, this study analyzes the characteristics of indicators such as public opinion subject, public opinion object and key communication nodes in each stage of public opinion through statistical analysis, principal component analysis and text emotion analysis, especially compares the similarities and differences between the recurrent stage and other stages. The results provide a reference for the effective identification, risk assessment and scientific guidance of recurrent public opinion.

    "The Combination of Poetry and Rhyme" is a collection of various poetry and rhyme books compiled by Tang Wenlu on the basis of Yu Chunting, Zhu Yuepo and Wang Mudu in the 7th year of Xianfeng (1857). This article analyzes the evolution process of "The Combination of Poetry and Rhyme" and believes that "The Combination of Poetry and Rhyme" inherits the rhyme part of Yu Chunting's "Shiyun Collection" and Zhu Yuepo's "Shi Yun", and adds a large number of poetry books on the basis of Wang Mudu to expand the content of poetry materials. In the end, one page and three columns were formed, the compilation "Shi Xi" (with "Supplement to "Shi Xi Supplement", "External Compilation of Shi Xi", "Song Epic Shi Xi"), "Ci Lin Dian Ye", "The Selection of Rhyme Prose" "Fu Hui Lu Yao", "Xu Zi Yun Sou" and "The Complete Collection of Poetry and Rhyme". Since then, Songyun Shuwu Edition and Chen Chishan's Examination and Enlargement Edition have not only continued to expand and correct in the two aspects of rhyme and poetry materials, but also continue to add to the "Rules of Distinguishing False Characters" and "Lifting Writing Style" and other rhythmic poems. reference book. Therefore, the writing process of "The Combination of Poetry and Rhyme" is a dynamic and evolving state.
