  • Introduction of Chinese library Legal History and Legal Rights

    This thesis briefly illustrates the library legal history of China; gives a basic assessment about the feature of the Chinese library legislation; discusses the necessity for library legislation in contemporary China; puts forward the concept of library legal rights, and demonstrates its historical and realistic relationship with the core values of the library. It is emphasized that contemporary China library legal rights are rooted from constitutional law, but the content is lack. It is clear and definite to China library legal rights by library legislation and appearing the core values of library.

    It is believed that the customer information search behavior of e-commerce websites belongs to the cross field between LIS and marketing. Analyzing relative theories， the authors construct the procedural model of e-commerce customer information search behavior based on theory foundations， search phases, and influence factors. Finally， an explosive research about the formation mechanism of customer information search behavior is made by the authors， from trigger， site selection， product retrieval， information browsing and evaluation phases.

It become a vital essential for improving the skills and levels of services since, in the society of migration increasing, librarian need to face not only minority population but also transnational migration, refugees and other foreign groups. This paper analyzes the connotation of multicultural competence of librarian and put forwards some proposals about training.

Moreover, the new organization management and culture system are utilized to ensure the feasibility of the construction of knowledge services system, whose target is to provide the high value -added knowledge services products or solutions to scientific users, in order to improve their ability to transfer knowledge and the efficiency of innovation.

  • Deep Analysis of the Copyright of Software and Content in Institutional Repository

    The copyright of the recourses which the institutional repository uses is very complex. It becomes one of the critical factors restricting the development of institutional repository. The recourses which the institutional repository uses contain software and content. The software includes source code software， self-developed software and the business software. The content includes four types： the copyright of the content belonging to institution， belonging to periodical office， belonging to author and belonging to publisher. The review of the current situation of the copyright in institutional repository can help researchers keep thinking in depth， pay attention to the planning of the copyright of the software and formulate customized schedule measures and workflow for different kinds of content. Thus， it will be helpful for speeding up the construction of the institutional repository.
  • Research on the Oral Material and It’s Copyright

    The oral material is one kind of material on which the information is acquired and transmitted by the oral form. The oral material can be classified into narrated ones and interviewed ones according to the direction of the information flow during the generation of the material. As for the current Chinese copyright law, the oral material should be protected as “works”. However, it is necessary to distinguish the situation of taking advantage of duty and the cooperation under the condition of interview. In terms of the copyright which was involved during collecting and using the oral material, the principle of“autonomy of will ”is the first priority, so the owner of the copyright could be determined by means of“the power attorney”.

  • Comparison of Chinese and Foreign Kids’ Search Engines

    The juvenile are becoming the major group who use network. There are a lot of kids’ search engines with relatively perfect functions in foreign countries. However, it is true that Chinese kid’s search engines are rare to some degree. At first, this paper analyzes the necessity of constructing kids’ search engines. Then it introduces two foreign kids’ search engines -- KidRex and Yahoo! Kids, and makes a comparison of protection effect from unhealthy websites. Moreover, this paper introduces two Chinese kids’ search engines—Children’s Information Harbor and Little Sweet Potato, then makes a comparison, too. Finally, this paper provides some referential opinions for construction of kids’ search engines.

    Based on the literature study on evolution model regarding social network, the evolution model of technological information service network is elaborated, which is consisted of a gradualistic model, differentiation model, and integration model. The evolution process could be divided into three different stages, such as the selection stage, the genetic stage, and the variation stage. Each stage can be moved back and forth if the driving force is existed. Our research results confirmed that it is significantly important and meaningful to develop technological information service network if we could find out the trends and evolution of technological information service network.

This paper compared and analyzed different indicators and measurement methods and proposed a new index system which should be used to evaluate the informationization construction of library comprehensively. This paper argued that there are four aspects such as the subject, content, methods and effects of informationization construction need be concerned in the system of index.

    Rural Library， rural service station of National Cultural Information Resources Sharing Project， Party member modern distance education center and countryside library are all providing rural public information， which is universal in the rural areas of Wujiang. However， these public cultural facilities are unable to supply regular， normative and professional information services for the restraints at resources， fund and staff. It has become a very important part of achieving the universality and equality of national public cultural service by solving the restraint factors to offer the normal and professional services for peasants. According to the reality， Wujiang puts forward a “four-in-one” program that specifying the management of township branch libraries， integrating the resources of rural information services， providing rural general information service by single cost to achieve the sustainable development of rural public information service， which has been supported by the government and turned into the pilot phase.

    The paper intends to study public library director's career paths. The study contents include the types of their career paths, career length, managerial experiences and vicissitude of their career paths. The results indicate several characteristics of career paths of public library directors, such as diversity of the types of career paths, career mobility and different effects of administrative commission to library director and deputy director.
  • Investigation and Analysis on Subjective Well-being of College Librarians in China

    251 college librarians in China are investigated with "librarians working and living conditions survey" to learn the status of subjective well-being of them and to explore the relationship between job burnout and subjective well-being. The result indicates that the college librarians' subjective well-being index is 60.423 on average and the level is low. The scores in indexes of respect and self -realization needs are low. The "reduced personal accomplishment" factor embodied job burnout. 14.44% of total variance of librarians' subjective well -being can be explained by job burnout through three variables. According to the results, this paper presented 3 measures to improve college librarian's subjective well-being.

    Derived from the edition study of modern Chinese literature studies, the edition study of modern Chinese translated literature studies takes the particularities of translation studies into account, combining empirical and interpretative research, edition and textual research. Starting with the criticism of source text editions, the edition study focuses on the textual research and causal analysis of target text edition changes in (re)translation and transmission, with an aim to discover the unique textual feature of each edition and to expand the space of criticism and interpretation. Therefore, it is the starting point of translation, translator and translation history studies, to ensure an accurate, objective and comprehensive understanding and evaluation of them all.

The sources and carrier types of collections in various Buddhist sutra mansions are also multifarious.
