To explore the position and role of libraries in artificial intelligence (AI) literacy education, and to analyze the implementation paths and promotion strategies for libraries to participate in AI literacy education, this paper, based on an explanation of the significance, connotation, and development trends of AI literacy education, analyzes the role and advantages of libraries in AI literacy education. It also constructs a framework for AI literacy education in libraries and discusses strategies for promoting AI literacy education in libraries. The study finds that the content of AI literacy education in libraries includes the provision of AI-related reading materials, general AI education, AI reading promotion, AI application provision, AI practice teaching, and AI practice assistance. Libraries need to actively explore the practice of AI literacy education, strive to build a library AI literacy education system, and continuously improve their AI literacy education capabilities.
