The characteristics of the two dimensional culture and its influence on the public library was summarized. It was believed that the public library should lead the development of the two dimensional culture through the construction of the library's information resources, and guide the youth to correctly choose the two dimensional resources. Based on the analysis of the current situation of information resources construction under the background of the two dimensional culture at home and abroad, the key links of information resources construction in public libraries were explored.
