The paper collected papers published in 2014-2018 form 50 iSchools alliance institutions and 18 domestic institutions, and used word frequency analysis, centrality analysis and clustering analysis to analyze and explore the research hotspots. The results indicate that, foreign concentrated in information communication and behavior, information retrieval, special group information service, information education, disease prevention and intervention, medical and health care; domestic concentrated in big data related issues, literature measurement analysis based on knowledge graph, knowledge organization and communication, library and information sciences' development trend, user information communication and behavior, information service and quality evaluation, academic evaluation in the new media environment. The paper also compared the similarities and differences between domestic and foreign research hotspots.
