The emergence of open platform of FOLIO provides inspiration for the next generation library platform construction and service innovation. This paper summarizes the background and environment of the next generation library platform, summarizes the FOLIO model of the next generation library service platform, and then studies the functional requirements of the next generation library service platform in service innovation.
