Abstract

In recent years, American New Media Consortium (NMC) released a series of investigation about digital literacy, providing references for higher education, university libraries, policy-making agencies, and other institutions that are committed to digital literacy education. The 2017 Digital Impact Study concerning an investigation of the present situation of digital education in colleges, the digital skills the students have mastered, and the influence of these skills on professional career and suggestions about digital education. What we can learn from this report is that our university libraries should make plans for digital education so as to meet the different needs of various disciplines. We should also make use of the maker space or cooperate with enterprises in digital education.
