Under the background of holistic poverty alleviation and encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation,  it is of both practical significance and theoretical value to analyze the current situation of government information service in poor areas and grasp the status quo of rural entrepreneurship information service in poor areas from a holistic perspective and to provide evidence for enhancing the construction of targeted service countermeasures fundamentals. Using the method of general survey, the author chose the county government websites and relevant government social media which were selected into the first and second batch of pilot projects of rural entrepreneurship as the research objects, and the data collection and analysis has been mainly conducted from the information provided by the government portal website, related websites and linked government social media. It was found that these websites did not work as they were expected. Countermeasures have been made to entrepreneurship and innovation information provision to update frequency and ways for spreading.
