Abstract

Copyright consciousness and literacy, copyright need, utilization behavior and platform functions need are investigated through questionnaire. The investigation finds that most of the respondents are willing to use public culture resources and require constructors to respect the rights of copyright holders and ask for their authorization if their works would be used. The respondents also argue that copyright attribution situation should be articulated for patrons to know clearly about the work. The patrons would like to upload and share their work in the condition that enough copyright protection is provided. Additionally, the results show that the respondents are rational enough to get access to desired work through fair and legal channels when their utilization constrained by copyright limitation set by platform or by authors. As for the desired resource style, patrons' preference is clear; and when asked to choose preferred royalty payment channel, their choices are of accordance with the degree of convenience.
