With the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, the literature of the study on directory system of government information resources in the past 10 years was analyzed about the annual distribution, authors distribution, journals distribution and the key words, and especially, the metadata, techniques, classification system, the use of the construction of the directory system and function expansion were analyzed to show the research content, thus revealing the status quo of the study.
