突如其来的新冠肺炎疫情对全球经济、文化的冲击前所未有，如何生存并获得更好地发展，是世界各国研究型图书馆面临的共同课题。2022年3月，北美研究型图书馆协会（ARL）发布《ARL 2021年度报告》，回顾了2021年ARL带领研究型图书馆应对疫情影响开展的工作。文章解读了《ARL 2021年度报告》的主要内容，认为我国研究型图书馆可以借鉴ARL的做法，在后疫情时代采取重视相关立法对图书馆发展的意义、提高和普及图书馆的科学数据管理能力、认识并积极参与解决社会问题、塑造和提升图书馆领导者的领导力等策略，以助推研究型图书馆的转型与发展。

The sudden Covid-19 pandemic brought unprecedented impact to global economy and culture, and the common issues that all the research libraries in the world are faced is how to survive and how to develop better. In March of 2022, the ARL published its annual report in which the ARL reviewed its various as respond to pandemic jobs in 2021. The author put forward in this paper that research libraries in our country should learn from ARL to pay attention to the significance of relevant legislation to the development of library, to increase and popularize the management ability of scientific data, to recognize and  actively take part in the solution of social problems, to increase the leadership of librarians so as to promote the transformation and development of research libraries.
