：民族文献阅读推广已经引起业界重视，但定义、意义、方法等基本问题尚未受到理论界的关注。文章基于上位概念及实践经验，将民族文献阅读推广描述为为促进本民族和全社会阅读本民族文献，以传承和发扬本民族文化而开展的一系列阅读推广措施和方法的总称。认为开展民族文献阅读推广的目的在于传承和发扬民族文化，维护人类文化多样性。推进民族文献的普及化和多方联动推进民族文献阅读推广是当前开展民族文献阅读推广的基础和重点。

National document reading promotion (NDRP) was followed with interest in practice fields. But the basic problems such as definition, aims and method of NDRP have not attracted attention in theory fields. The paper defines it as reading promotion programs for promote native people and the whole society to read the native document, to inherit and promote the native culture based on analysis of the upper seat conception and the practical experience. It is pointed out that the purpose of NDRP is to inherit and promote the native culture, and to protect the cultural diversity. To advance the popularization of national document and  multi-lateral cooperation in NDRP are the key point now.
