：美国图书馆界历来重视对图书馆人物的评价，美国图书馆协会的“图书馆名人堂”、《图书馆杂志》的世纪评选和州图书馆协会的“威斯康星图书馆名人堂”等评选活动，对我国具有重要启示。我国图书馆学术界对“图书馆四代人”的划分、中国图书馆学会“中国图书馆榜样人物”评选以及地方图书馆学会的图书馆人物评选等活动，也为我国的图书馆人物评价积累了宝贵的经验。我国图书馆界应当设立“中国图书馆名人堂”，以激励当代，启迪后人。

Traditionally much attention is paid to the library figure evaluation in America. The Hall of Fame Librarians of American Library Association, the selection of 100 famous librarians in America in last century, and some selections held by state library association bring profitable historical experiences for China. Chinese library academia has also accumulated many treasured experiences. Four Generations division, the selection of Chinese Librarianship Example of Library Society of China, and local library figures evaluation of provincial library societies are just a few. Library Society of China should set up Chinese Library Hall of Fame in order to encourage the modern librarians and enlighten the future librarians.
